Get ready to plan your visit to the Fallas of Valencia 2025! Our Fallas Calendar has been updated with most of the official events:
- From February 2 to March 15, explore the Exposició del Ninot (Ninot Exhibition), cast your vote for your favorite ninot, and get an early glimpse of this year’s Fallas monuments.
- The first official Fallas day kicks off on Sunday, February 23, with “La Despertà 2025.” This marks the start of the Fallas celebrations, but there’s much more happening:
- Early morning despertà parades, both for infants and general, where firecrackers are set off to wake up the neighborhood and build excitement for the upcoming festivities.
- The historic “El Cant de l’Estoreta Velleta” contest, a throwback to early 20th-century Fallas traditions.
- A parade featuring traditional music bands.
- A mascletà at its usual time and location, although it doesn’t count as one of the official mascletàs from March 1 to 19.
- La Crida at 8:00 p.m., featuring a ceremonial speech, music, and spectacular light and fireworks shows.
- From March 1 to 19, don’t miss the daily Mascletàs at 2:00 p.m. in Plaça de l’Ajuntament (Town Hall Square).
- On March 15, witness the final touches as the Fallas commissions complete their Fallas, both children’s and large, setting the stage for the main festival days. It’s ‘La Plantà’. This night is also marked by fireworks displays throughout the city.
- From March 16 to 18, enjoy breathtaking fireworks shows, with March 18 being La Nit del Foc, the grandest and most anticipated display of them all.
- On March 19, just before the Fallas are set ablaze, join the Cavalcada del Foc… and watch out for the chasing demons!
- The Fallas of Valencia culminate on March 19 with the cremà. The children’s Fallas are burned first, followed by the large ones, bringing the festival to an emotional close.
And there’s more to explore on the calendar!
We’re still awaiting confirmation on some events, such as the popular “night mascletàs,” which are typically held on the two weekends before the main festival days, likely on March 1 and 2, and March 8 and 9. Additionally, some Fallas will begin hosting their first live music events during the March 8-9 weekend.
As new events are confirmed, we’ll update the calendar and keep you posted. Stay tuned and enjoy the Fallas!
