‘Cavalcada del Foc’ or Fire Parade 2025

On the last day of the Fallas, before the monuments are burned, there’s one last parade to celebrate: the ‘Cavalcada del Foc’ or Fire Parade.

The Fire Parade is essentially a ‘Correfocs’ or Fire Run, a procession where ‘dimonis’ or demons shoot sparks, accompanied by mythological figures, and playfully frighten attendees. This parade celebrates the upcoming ‘Cremà’ when the fallas will be burned.

While the sparks aren’t dangerous, you may experience slight discomfort on the skin and minor burns on clothing, so it’s advisable to wear natural fabrics like cotton and clothes you don’t mind getting damaged. Additionally, it’s useful to have a scarf to cover your mouth and breathe less smoke.

The 2025 Valencia Fallas Fire Parade starts at 7 p.m. on Calle de la Paz and continues to Porta del Mar.
