La ‘despertà’ is a route where people are awakened early by setting off firecrackers, hence the name, ‘despertar’ – to wake up. It begins shortly after the children’s event and ends in the Town Hall Square with a large ‘terratrèmol’ or pyrotechnic earthquake, by Mediterráneo Pyrothecnics.
